The Bump...13 Weeks

Here we are at 13 weeks. No noticeable changes. Looks about the same. Hopefully not for long!!

The Bump...12 Weeks

Although I do not have a noticeable baby bump yet, the pants are definitely starting to get a little tight. Bella bands and rubber bands are my life savers at this point. I will post a bump picture each week. I am definitely ready to start looking pregnant!

A Baby Bee is on the Way!

I am officially the worst blogger ever. Now that I have a precious thing to blog about in 2011, I am going to be better! So the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Derek and I found out we were pregnant! Talk about a surprise. Over the summer, I had made t shirts for Karlie and Cooper that said "Big Sis" and "Big Bro". I figured when the time came, I'd slip those cute shirts on our babies to reveal the big news to their daddy. Well, it didn't quite work out that way, so we got to use the shirts on my parents and sister. What fun that was!
That Friday, my mom's family was coming in to celebrate Christmas. For nearly 15 years (maybe more) we've had a white elephant toothpick pig that has been given has a gift each year. The pig is always dressed up...last year we got the pig dressed like a groom, since it was our first Christmas together. Nana had decided the pig would finally be retired since everyone had recieved it. I thought it'd be fun to tell my family we were going to have a baby "bee" by dressing the pig has a baby bee. So that's what we did. It was a huge surprise for everyone. I'm thrilled I can finally post the pictures!

We have had more fun telling our family. I put together a DVD for my Grandmother and Gramps and Papa and Sarah telling them they were going to be great-grandparents. And the really fun part...my younger cousin Bryan, and his wife Kelly, are expecting this August! It has been so special going through this with my little cuz.

I just still cannot believe I am going to be a mommy. I cannot believe how much I love this little peanut already. Derek and I are truly blessed and are so very much looking forward to meeting our Bee in July!
