Waiting for Clara

One thing I have figured out (real fast) is that I have to be very patient when it comes to this pregnancy. 9/10 months is a VERY long time, however, I must say it has gone by fast. I am afraid these last two months will be the longest though. I have been very busy making plans for Clara's nursery. The hard part is that we only have the dresser, rug and crib skirt. So...there's not much I can do right now as far as decorating goes. The bumper should be ready very soon, and we are SUPPOSED to get the crib this week or next. The glider will probably be the very last piece since we only ordered that a month ago. I am hoping, once we have the bumper, we can figure out the paint color. THEN, once we have it all painted, we can start hanging things. Last weekend, Sara and Derek put together his birthday present...the B.O.B. Revolution. (His only request when it came to buying "baby things.") It really is an awesome jogging stroller. We both can't wait to try it out.

Right now, the nursery is full of wonderful gifts for Miss Clara from our shower last weekend. I have gone through all of the clothes, and am currently washing a load right now. Derek and I also reorganized Clara's closet and the guest bedroom closet. I guess you can say, I'm in major nesting mode!

Derek and my daddy also painted the precious cradle Clara will use. My Gramps built the cradle for my cousin Melanie, which was then passed down to me and my sister. It is in great condition and so very special. Once it's all put back together, and in our room, I will take a picture.

So that's where we are right now. We still have plenty of time...I'm just so very excited I can hardly stand it.
